About REET Exam
The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is a qualifying exam for aspiring government school teachers in Rajasthan, conducted by the Board of School Education (BSER). BSER REET Details, Eligibility & Qualification
Level-I (PRT) Class I-V Eligibility:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either:
- Passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with at least 45% marks in accordance with NCTE regulations (2002).
- Passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent).
Level-II (TGT) Class VI-VIII Eligibility:
- Graduation and either:
- Passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- At least 45% marks in Graduation with a 1-year B.Ed in accordance with NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either:
- Passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed (Special Education).
