CSIR-UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for June 2024. This exam, scheduled for 25th, 26th, and 27th June 2024, will be conducted online. It helps determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professorship, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities.
The online application process started on 1st May 2024 and will run until 21st May 2024. Applicants can make corrections to their forms from 25th to 27th May 2024.
The CSIR UGC NET June 2024 exam will cover six subjects:

- Earth Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Physical Sciences

- Age Limit :
- For JRF: Max 28 Years (on 1.6.2024)
- For Lecturership/ Assistant Professor: No Age Limit
CSIR-UGC NET June 2024 Eligibility & Qualification Details
For General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates, a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities/institutions is required to be eligible for the CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Examination.
For Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third gender category candidates, a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination is required to be eligible to apply for the CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Examination.
Candidates in the final year of their Master’s degree program are also eligible to apply.
