The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2025. This recruitment is for positions in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). SSC GD New Bharti Age Limit

Age Limit: For SSC GD New Recruitment 2025, the age range is 18 to 23 years (Age count: 01 August 2024). There will be upper age relaxation for 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST.

SSC GD New Bharti Selection Process

The selection process for Bharti includes the following steps:

• Written Exam
• Physical Test (PET/ PMT)
• Documents Verification
• Medical Examination

Computer Based Examination(CBT)

This is the first step to get a job All candidates whose online applications are accepted are called to appear in the CBT. Online Exams will be held in English and Hindi language. will have four sections on the following subjects.

1. General Intelligence and Reasoning
2. General Knowledge and General Awareness
3. Elementary Mathematics
4. English/Hindi.

SSC GD Syllabus and Pattern of CBT

The Computer examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition

• The test carries 100 objective-type questions for 160 marks.
• Each question will carry a 2 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• SSC has also fixed the cut-off of marks for the CBT.
• General/Ex-Servicemen:35%.
• OBC/SC/ST-33%.

Note: There is a relaxation for ST candidates in the required height. For Male (ST) – 162.5 cm & Female (ST) – 150 cm. Additionally, for Male candidates, the chest criteria are 76/5 cm. Weight for both male and female candidates should be proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
